Review by hotel critic
As a family of four hailing from the heart of Europe, our stay at West End Central was nothing short of exceptional. The property's perfect location, within a stone's throw of the bustling cultural hub that is West End, made it an ideal choice for our Aussie adventures. While exploring Brisbane, we delighted in a serene 3-hour cruise aboard the iconic Kookaburra River Queen paddle wheeler. The kids were captivated by the views, and we appreciated the chance to unwind amidst stunning scenery.Despite the temporary closure of the QPAC theatres, our days were filled with enriching experiences. The hotel's family-friendly vibe and attentive staff ensured that our needs were always met - from extra towels to helpful local tips. One highlight was the spacious apartment, which provided a comfortable sanctuary for us to recharge after a day of exploring. The kitchen came in handy for preparing quick family meals, and the bathroom, though a bit dated, was clean and functional. All in all, West End Central's welcoming atmosphere and prime location made our family vacation a memorable one. We're already planning our return trip Down Under!
